Terms
Last updated 24 October 2026
These terms apply when you use telemotely: its apps, its website and the service behind them. telemotely is provided by Rymnex (ABN 61 104 882 899), Victoria, Australia. By using telemotely you agree to them.
Using telemotely
- Connect only to devices you own, or that the person responsible for them has allowed you to use. Giving you the ID and code shown on a device, or switching on unattended access for you, is how that permission is given in the app.
- The person at a device is always shown when somebody is connected. Don't try to hide a connection, or to use telemotely to watch anyone without their knowledge.
- Don't use telemotely to break the law, to harm anyone, to spread malicious software, or to get into systems you're not allowed to use.
- You're responsible for what you do on a device while you're connected to it.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Keep the email address on your account working: it's how we reach you about your account and your payments.
- You can stop using telemotely at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, write to [email protected].
Credits and payment
- Sessions and watching devices are paid for with credits, at the rates on the pricing page. If those rates change, the pricing page will say so before the new rates apply.
- When your balance reaches zero, new sessions and watching your devices pause until you add credits.
- Credits you buy don't expire.
- Credits we give you for free, such as those every new account starts with, have no cash value and can't be refunded or transferred.
- Credits belong to your account and can't be moved to another account or exchanged for money, except as a refund below.
Refunds
- If you buy credits on our website and change your mind, write to us within 14 days of buying them and we'll refund the credits you haven't used.
- After 14 days, credits aren't refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
- Credits bought in the Google Play Store or the App Store are refunded under Google's or Apple's own refund rules.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or under the consumer law where you live.
The service
- We work to keep telemotely available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of faults. Connections depend on the internet, and on the networks and devices at both ends.
- We improve telemotely over time, so features can change. If we stop offering a part you've paid credits for, you can ask us to refund the credits you haven't used.
Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by connecting to devices without permission, by abusing the service, or by not paying what's owed, or where the law requires us to. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to put it right.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. This doesn't limit any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that can't be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and if a change matters to how you use telemotely, we'll tell you before it applies.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia, and disputes about them are for the courts of Victoria.
